Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

When you use the vektor bot or dashboard, we collect: - Discord User ID, username, and avatar (via OAuth2 identify scope) - Server list and permissions (via OAuth2 guilds scope) - Server ID and bot settings (for configuration) - Economy data: balances, transactions, duel results (for bot features) - Moderation history and ticket messages (for logging and support) - Activity points (for the activity system) - Date of account creation (for verification features) Payment data: When purchasing premium, your Discord ID and tier are sent to Whop (fiat) or NowPayments (crypto). We store the processor transaction reference and subscription tier — never your card details, bank information, or crypto wallet credentials. See the Payment Processors section for details.

Data We Do NOT Collect

- Private message content - Messages outside of bot functions - Passwords or payment information - IP addresses - Data from other servers

Automod Content

Message content fragments may be stored temporarily when automod violations are detected. These fragments are used solely for moderation review and are automatically deleted after 30 days.

IP Address Logging

We may log IP addresses for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention. IP addresses are not linked to Discord accounts and are automatically purged from logs after 7 days.

How We Use Data

Data is used exclusively for: - Operating bot functionality - Improving the service - User support - Preventing abuse We do NOT sell data to third parties, use it for advertising, or profile users.

Data Storage

Data is stored in a secured database with restricted access. Retention behavior: - Server data: deleted on operator request via /gdpr command or dashboard - Transaction logs: automatically deleted after 90 days - Activity logs: automatically deleted after 90 days - Automod violation content: automatically cleared after 30 days - User data: deleted upon request via /gdpr command, dashboard, or support Deletion behavior: personal records (settings, preferences, balance, profile) are hard-deleted. Shared records that involve other users (trades, duels, moderation actions, audit logs) are anonymized — the user identifier is replaced with a non-reversible hash so the historical record remains intact for the other parties involved, but cannot be linked back to the original user.

Data Sharing

We do not share data with third parties, except when required by law or to protect the developer's rights.

Payment Processors

vektor supports two payment methods for premium subscriptions: Whop (whop.com): Fiat subscriptions (card/PayPal). Whop processes payment data directly — we never see or store your card or bank details. We only receive a membership status confirmation and your Discord ID (via Whop OAuth). Whop's privacy policy governs their data handling. NowPayments (nowpayments.io): Crypto one-time payments. NowPayments processes the blockchain transaction. We receive a transaction reference, payment status, and the tier purchased — we do not receive wallet private keys or crypto credentials. NowPayments's privacy policy governs their data handling. In both cases, we store only: your Discord ID, the subscription tier granted, the processor transaction reference, and the expiry timestamp. We do not store payment instrument details (cards, addresses) on our infrastructure.

Your Rights

You have the right to: - Access your data (via dashboard profile page) - Export your data (via dashboard → My Profile → Export Data) - Request data deletion (via dashboard or support at [email protected]) - Withdraw consent (remove the bot from your server) Data deletion removes personal records immediately. Shared records (trades, duels) are anonymized to preserve other users' history.

Data Security

We implement security measures including restricted database access, regular backups, and security monitoring. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Minors

The bot is not intended for users under 13 years of age, in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

GDPR (EU Users)

If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under Articles 15-21 of the GDPR, including right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Contact us through the support server.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced through the support server. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
